Symptoms Of Sleep Apnea

If you have been diagnosed with, or suspect that you suffer from, this condition, you may be at a higher risk of stroke, heart disease, hypertension, depression, and irregular heartbeat. Patients who have sleep apnea often report the following symptoms:

  • Heavy Snoring
  • Periodic Loss of Breath While Sleeping
  • Struggling To Breathe While Sleeping
  • Constant Fatigue and Lack of Energy
  • Weight Gain
  • Depression
  • Dry Throat
  • Irritability & Mood Swings

Sleep Apnea Treatment

If Dr. Gessner suspects that you may have sleep apnea, our team will coordinate treatment with a sleep specialist to ensure that you are correctly diagnosed and treated. If you are diagnosed with sleep apnea, your physician may recommend CPAP therapy (a machine commonly used to treat sleep apnea) or a custom-crafted oral appliance that offers a less-invasive treatment solution.

Our team is committed to providing the most effective treatment for your sleep apnea, whether it's an oral appliance or a CPAP machine. Our team will be there every step of the way, to help you manage and treat your sleep apnea.
